Grey's Anatomy is an Emmy, SAG, and Golden Globe award-winning American primetime television medical drama. It debuted on ABC as a midseason replacement on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005, immediately following the popular Desperate Housewives. The story revolves around Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), a surgical intern at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle, Washington. The show features an ensemble cast, though Meredith is featured as the central character, providing voice-over narration at the beginning and end of most episodes. The title of the show is a reference to the famous anatomy textbook, Gray's Anatomy.

Burke cannot operate on Denny after Denny's heart stopped and now Denny is in a dire condition. Cristina gets put in charge of the ER and she is worried about Burke. Part 2 of a three-hour season finale. This episode is the first hour of a two-hour episode which is two hours long.
